Frequently asked questions
What is an ex-display shed?
An ex-display shed is a garden building that has previously been constructed and used as a display model. Selected models are now offered for sale at a reduced price. Are ex-display sheds new?
Ex-display buildings have previously been displayed, so they are not the same as a brand-new, made-to-order building. They are sold as seen, and there may be minor signs of previous display or outdoor exposure. Are ex-display buildings available immediately?
Selected models are already constructed and can be available immediately. Availability depends on the individual building. Can I choose a different size or colour?
Ex-display buildings are individual display models, so the size, colour and specification are fixed for each available building. If you want a particular size or design, a new made-to-order building may be more suitable. Can I view an ex-display building before buying?
Yes, absolutely. You’re welcome to view the ex-display building before making a purchase. There’s no need to arrange an appointment you can visit us anytime during our opening hours:Monday–Friday: 8:30 am–5:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am–2:00 pm
We look forward to seeing you!
Can I return an ex-display building?
No. Ex-display buildings are sold as seen and are non-returnable.Are there many ex-display sheds available?
Ex-display stock is limited and changes as buildings are sold and new display models become available. If you see a building that suits your requirements, we recommend contacting the team promptly. Can I ask questions before purchasing?
Absolutely. If you are unsure about the specification, condition, dimensions or suitability of an ex-display building, contact the MCD team before making your purchase.Visit the MCD Showroom
